Researchers:  Team of the Centre for the Analysis of Public Policy

The late Professor Emeritus François Pétry, Professor Emeritus Louis Imbeau and retired Full Professor and Associate Professor Jean Crête invented POLTEXT, a project whose main research mission was to collect textual sources useful for policy analysis, to codify their content according to various recognized methods, and to make the collected texts and the scientific knowledge produced available to researchers. POLTEXT's mission will expand to become a repository for research data produced by francophone researchers.

On the POLTEXT website, you will find an archive including a collection of election platforms for Canadian provinces and Canada, the texts of throne speeches, budgets, and various reports that help to better understand public policies and can be used in textual analysis.
